After some faffing about with

"After some faffing about with the delivery company I finally received my racking. Assembly was fairly straightforward and good instructions although I found it a tad fiddly. I think the side beams tabs could be bent over a bit more at the top so they slide into the slots easier. I had to push them in with my thumb and then the bottle tabs went in the same time. Overall though they seem quite strong and sturdy and well made. Obviously not as strong as good old fashioned wood shelves or something but I like the fact you can move it around easy and adjust the shelves how you want. Good communication and I'm pleased with them, good value for money!"

Great service, good quality shelving

"As a mechanic by trade, and avid DIYer/maker I've seen and assembled many shelving units of different brands and prices. Inevitably, the cheap ones are so flimsy that I won't recommend them for any use, but mid-priced ones can also be unstable. Good ones are quite expensive, but I've found the ones from Rhino Racking to be a good compromise and do the job. The metal sections are of decent gauge although they could do with a little more thickness, the MDF boards are sturdy enough. My only criticism is that the MDF boards, at least all 3 sets that I bought, have a VERY strong chemical smell and need several days kept outside to reduce this. It's not a faint smell, and is not what MDF or hardboard smells like, I hope is some sort of wood preservative to protect them from moisture. Also, the large size I had -120W by 60D- should have some braces to reduce the flex/twist. Otherwise, the service was very good and the delivery arranged to suit my needs, that was really appreciated."
