Once fully assembled the rack

"Once fully assembled the rack became stable & robust. A little fiddly to engage the location lugs on the shelf corners with the uprights."

Trevor S. (5/5)

Great Job

"A great product good & strong. Easy to put together I’m very pleased with it. The company was excellent & delivered on time I would recommend this company & the racking. J 😆"

Loft Storage Racking

"In kit form the rack components seem 'delicate', however when assembled they form solid structure which is ideal for the purpose I needed; loft racking, at a competitive cost over building a bespoke wooden rack (also less weight). Suggest mounting rack either on a solid floor, or using 'runner boards' to spread the stored load (small footprint = relatively high point load). Only negative is that because I ordered multiple racks, they arrived packed in two's, making each box over 25kg."

Nigel D. (5/5)

5 tier shelving.

"Built the shelf without instructions as they were only found stuck between the last 2 of 5 boards. I’m useless at diy but managed to wing my way through the build. Was so pleased with my efforts and the shelf is absolutely brilliant, I love it. Took me about 2hrs but if I built another it would take half hour. You will become good friends with your rubber mallet, the only tool you’ll need. For the money of around £40 this has to be the best on the market."

Paul T. (5/5)

excellent shelf unit

"Really easy to assemble, strong and robust when assembled"

Peter S. (5/5)

Not a bad racking for the money.

"Sceptical but the price seemed reasonable so I bought two sets to tidy up the garage. When unboxing I noticed the metal was quite thin, but happily once together though they seem really sturdy. Not sure how long the thin mdf board will last, but it held up to all my junk and boxes I dumped on them. So yes, for the price I’ll probably buy another two sets once I get some more stuff sorted in the dumping ground I call the garage."

Garth T. (5/5)

"Assembly is straight forward . A rubber mallet is a good tool to use to gently tap fixings into place. Very pleased and they look great in the garage. That good we have purchased two more !"

Jane (5/5)

Racking

"Very prompt service and delivery.unfortunately I found it to be very flimsy and shelves were almost like cardboard. Started to assemble but it was so sharp edges that cut my hands. I repackaged the items and requested to return it. The return was straightforward and all the contacts I had with the Rhino staff were very efficient and kept me informed on collection and refund was passed. I had to pay £12 for return carriage."

Margaret M. (2/5)

Very happy

"Decided to get the garage tidied up and was looking for options. Bought one shelf unit to see if they were any good. I am impressed withe the quality for the price and will be getting some more."

Matt G. (5/5)

"Good value for money, a little fiddly to build, sturdy when complete"

Q&A

FAQs

How much weight can each garage shelving unit hold?

Each shelf has a load capacity of up to
200kg, giving the full shelving unit a total load bearing capacity of
1000kg when evenly distributed. This makes the shelving ideal for heavy
tools, storage boxes, stock, and equipment.

Are the shelves adjustable?

Yes. The shelving system features fully
adjustable shelves, allowing you to move them up or down to suit
different item sizes. You can also add or remove shelves as your storage
needs change.

What material are the shelving boards made from?

The shelving boards are made from durable
MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard), offering a strong, flat surface that is
ideal for garages, workshops, warehouses, and storage rooms.

Are the shelves suitable for garages?

Yes. These shelving units are designed for use
in garages, homes, stockrooms, workshops, and warehouses. Their high
load capacity and modular design make them suitable for both domestic and
commercial storage.

Can the shelving units be attached to the wall?

Yes. For added stability and safety, the
shelving units can be securely fixed to the wall, making them ideal for
garages and environments where heavy items are stored.

Can multiple shelving units be connected together?

Yes. Full shelving units can be connected
side-by-side, and connecting pieces are included. This allows you to
create a continuous run of shelving for larger storage areas.

Is the shelving easy to assemble?

Yes. The shelving is easy to build and can
be assembled by one person. All units come with clear assembly
instructions to ensure a straightforward setup.

Do the shelves come with instructions?

Yes. Step-by-step assembly instructions
are included with every shelving unit to make installation quick and simple.

What finish do the shelving frames have?

The shelving frames feature a powder-coated
finish, providing excellent resistance to wear, corrosion, and everyday
use, perfect for garage and industrial environments.

Can I add or remove shelves?

Yes. The modular design allows you to add
or remove additional shelves at any time, giving you flexibility as your
storage requirements evolve.

How should MDF shelves be cared for in a garage?

In garages or areas with high humidity or
limited airflow, we recommend treating MDF shelves with a high-quality
varnish or sealant. This helps protect the boards from moisture and extends
their lifespan.

Are the shelves suitable for damp environments?

The shelving is suitable for garages and
storage areas, but because the boards are MDF, sealing them with varnish is
advised in damp or poorly ventilated environments to prevent moisture
damage.

What is your returns policy?

Items can be returned within 30 days of
purchase, provided they are unopened and in re-sellable condition.
Please ensure the packaging remains intact when returning goods.

Is the unit suitable for heavy-duty storage?

Yes. With 200kg per shelf capacity, a powder-coated
steel frame, and the option to wall-fix and connect multiple units, this
shelving is ideal for heavy-duty garage and warehouse storage. To ensure it's load bearing weight, distribute the weight evenly across the shelf and do not exceed 200kg.
